Co-Owner, Trainer, Groomer Fitness Expert

Chaniece is a multifaceted and accomplished dog trainer and dog groomer. She has been working with dogs since 2012 and never looked back! She is internationally trained in dog grooming and has been featured in two books, multiple newspapers, and online publications for her creative grooming work. Chaniece continues to take grooming seminars whenever possible to keep her skills up to date!

In addition to dog grooming, Chaniece is a dog trainer with dozens of certifications. She is proficient in training everything from puppies to sports - her current specialty is dog fitness and conditioning. She has a passion for dog movement and believes every dog should have the opportunity to participate in sports pain-free, with a lower risk of injury, and believes that senior dogs can retain their movement and muscle tone well into old age to keep them comfortable and happy. She also has new certifications in PEMF and RED light therapies and can help you find the best comfort and care plan for your pup.

In her personal life, she loves to spend time outdoors, hit music festivals, and compete in a variety of dog sports with her own pets, watch out for her at weekend ratting and scenting competitions!

Zach Miller

Dog Groomer

Zach is a seasoned dog groomer, becoming best friends with even the smelliest of pups since 2017. He has a big heart and can happily handle even the largest of dogs. He can groom anything from the smallest shavedown to the largest de-shed. His experience in multiple studios over the years has given him a loyal clientele and has prepared him for anything a grooming studio can throw at him.

In his spare time you can find him min/maxing video games, attending local concerts, catching up on the best movies, and mastering the latest and greatest card games.

Jaclynne Green

Co-Owner, Nutritionist, Enrichment Specialist

Jaclynne is a passionate pet expert who specialises in nutrition, enrichment and photography. She is certified in animal nutrition and has spent the last eleven years helping pet owners find the ideal food and supplements for their best friends. Whether you need help switching your dog's food, or problem solving a behavioral issue, she is your go-to.

When she is not making meal plans she is busy taking care of the dogs in the Academy, editing the photos for the monthly CreativeK9 Photoshoots, and managing the social media pages.

In her spare time Jaclynne loves to spend quality time with her cats and dogs while she pursues creative outlets such as painting, crochet, and just about anything she can DIY. You have also seen her photographed with Winnipeg’s original rainbow poodle Marty over the last decade.

Ashley Birch

Boarding Partner

Hi! My name is Ashley, and I’ve been working with dogs since 2021. My sister Chaniece opened the world of dog grooming to me. I loved being able to learn from her & watch her passion for dogs grow every day, while realizing I could turn my admiration for them into a career of my own. I then started working at a doggy daycare facility and learned everything from socialization and breeds to patience, empathy, communication with dogs, attention to dog behavior, and correcting behavior using positive reinforcement, and more.

I wanted to expand my skills and advance my training so I could start teaching fluffy companions! I started training puppy manners, basic obedience level 1 & 2, leash manners and safe walking practices, fun tricks, and working with outdoor distractions. As well as one-on-one training to help owners learn and have fun with their pups! I’ve completed Safety for Pet Pros, Treatment and Prevention of Dog Aggression, Inside Your Dog’s Mind with Victoria Stilwell, Dog Body Language courses, Simple Solutions for common dog behavior and training problems, Leash Reactivity and Modifying your dog’s aggressive behavior, and Dog training basics to have a happy and well-behaved dog, all through Udemy courses.

A big passion of mine has been boarding pups for the last 5 years at my home, and I love being able to spoil them while their owners are away with nothing but the best care. At CreativeK9 Solutions, I would love to continue my passion with dogs. This includes my home being open for boarding dogs & meeting new pups. I’d love to offer bootcamp and training services. As well as dog walking and private training. My goal is for owners and dogs to always learn and feel confident/happy using my practices.

In my free time, I am an avid reader & love exploring new worlds in books. As well as drawing, making Kindle covers, scrapbooking & painting. Any free time of mine is spent being creative or going on outdoor adventures. I love finding new dog parks to bring my pup Sophie to and explore together. In addition to baking, both my pups and I now have healthy recipes to enjoy.
