CreativeK9 Solutions started in 2012 with a dog groomer and a dream. A dream that one day, people would look at their dogs' wellness as closely as they looked at their own. Total dog wellness is more than just socialization or obedience; it is ensuring your dog's emotional, physical, psychological, and nutritional needs are fully met.
Fast forward two houses, many happy dogs and cats, dozens of training and nutritional courses, and thousands of nail trims along the way, and we have created CreativeK9 Solutions. Your one-stop shop for all of your dog's needs.
Our Mission:
At our premium, small-classroom-size academy, your dog will find enrichment and engagement in equal measure, with rest and play. Our unique model includes daily enrichment activities that not only feed your dog's brainpower but also tucker them out the right way. Dogs that are met with appropriate mental and physical engagement are much less likely to engage in “bad” behaviors common in your typical daycare setting, such as excessive humping, aggression, overstimulation, poop eating, excessive barking, and emotional shutdown.
With a high staff-to-dog ratio and smaller group sizes, we can give your dog the attention they deserve. All of our staff have years of experience with dogs and are eager to cater to your dog's specific needs. However, the academy is only the start; at our total wellness center, your dog will find care for all aspects of their life, from training to nutrition. CreativeK9 Solutions is a one-stop shop for all of your pressing dog questions, and our team of trained professionals is prepared with answers.

In our group fitness class explore fitness foundations and learn to use basic fitness equipment under expert supervision. Joining our recurring fitness club is a great way to incorporate fitness into your weekly routine and make new dog friends along the way.

We offer daily specialized training and activities to engage your dog the right way. Our trained staff, with years of experience with dogs, will guide your dog through a structured routine that fosters good habits through positive reinforcement, appropriate socialization, and formative play.

What does a day at the CreativeK9 Solutions Dog Academy look like?
=> 07:00-09:00 Morning drop off
Your dog will be placed in a small group of similarly sized friends that will be their classmates for the day
=> 09:00-11:30 Structured play and daily training activities.
Your dog will be engaged in structured group play and lots of one-on-one time with the human coach and will participate in the daily specialized training activity.
=> 11:30-13:00 Quiet Time*
Did you know that rest is as important as learning and play? Dogs who receive appropriate opportunities for rest and self-regulation are much less likely to experience stress responses such as excessive barking, excessive humping, aggression, agitation, poop-eating, and hyperactivity. During this quiet time, dogs will be encouraged to decompress, engage in a nap, or soft play. Also, during this time, dogs who have opted into any daily extras will be taken into a private setting to complete their add-on activity or walk/jog.
=>13:00-16:00 Training play
Less-structured play in the afternoon to get your pup tired out, without being overstimulated. Toys, fetch, and group play activities are closely monitored to ensure a safe and enjoyable social experience for your dog.
=>16:00-18:00 Evening pick up
After a long day of training and play, your dog is encouraged to settle down just in time for you to pick up your freshly enriched pup.
By keeping a firm schedule day to day, your dog not only receives new and different training and enrichment each day but also learns to better self-regulate their needs by keeping a healthy schedule alongside their classmates.

All training will be conducted by positive reinforcement and force-free approaches. We will provide your dog with incentives to participate, including local treats from Happy Daisy Dog Treats, toys, and verbal praise.

The Academy will be available Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Please note that, due to very limited capacity, we encourage you to book your days in advance through our handy web portal.
Better Dog Bootcamp
Do you want more work, less play? Good news! We offer Better Dog Bootcamp exclusively on Tuesdays. Drop your dog off for a full day of one-on-one training with one of our experienced dog coaches.
Tuesdays are a more intensive experience, and geared at dogs who want or need more specialized trainer attention. Our Coach will work with you to determine your dogs specialized needs and do three perfectly catered coaching sessions with your dog in order to send you home a Better Dog.

From puppy manners to basic obedience to dog sports preparation - our knowledgeable trainers have your dog’s best interests in mind! If you have a dog problem, we have your solution.

We offer exclusive small-group training with plenty of 1-on-1 face time with your trainer, with the added bonus of community and socialization. We believe that good dogs are made, not bred - our highly experienced trainers are excited to guide you through every phase of your dog's life.

Dog Nutrition and Enrichment are key factors that may help keep your dog healthier for longer and reduce vet bills over the life of your pet. We know that there is no one-size-fits-all food option for dogs. Pet stores are lined with hundreds of foods, countless nutritional breakdowns, promises, guarantees, supplements, and too many choices to count. How is the average pet owner supposed to know what the right food for their dog is? Should you be supplementing? Are you overfeeding? What bowl do you pick? We are here to help!
Our trained Nutritional and Enrichment consultant will not only walk you through the ins and outs of shopping at the pet store, but will also provide you with a personalized plan which includes not only answers to all your pressing feeding questions, but also product, supplement, and enrichment activity recommendations to keep your dog fed and engaged.

Boarding
Your dog deserves a home, even when you are away from yours. With our exclusive network of trusted in-home boarders, you can rest easy knowing that your dog is being cared for like family.
We are not a kennel facility! Our premium boarding experience takes place in real homes, with real passionate pet owners. Dogs will be matched by size and energy level to ensure safe and enjoyable boarding. Our team of experienced pet boarders will treat your dog like one of their own for the duration of your getaway, whether it is a month-long vacation, your wedding night, or your home renovations. We are here to make sure your dog enjoys your vacation just as much as you do!
Due to the luxury nature of this service, we may have limited availability and holidays and weekends fill up fast! Book your pup’s stay ahead of time!

1 Night - $75 per dog**
2-6 Nights - $70 per dog (+10% off a full groom)***
7-14 Nights - $65 per dog (+15% off a full groom)***
14+ Nights - $60 per dog (+20% off a full groom)***
(%20 off for each additional dog from the same household)
Please note that a 25% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking confirmation for boarding. The remaining 75% is due on the date that boarding begins.
A holiday surcharge of $10/day per dog applies to the following dates: New Year's Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, August Civic Holiday, Labor Day, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day.
Beds/bowls/toys are provided by our boarding team. Please provide food, treats, and a kennel if used.
*Please note that behaviors such as marking, aggression/reactivity, or property damage may lead to the discontinuation of future boarding services, or you may be given the option to book a board and train for the duration of your dog's stay.
**For a one-night board, please complete an academy or economy assessment and complete one day of service prior to boarding
***For 2+ nights boarding, one trial night at $75 will be required prior to the final boarding appointment
Grooming
Our grooming team are dog industry veterans with over 20 years of combined grooming experience! With international training and breed standard prowess, you can be sure your dog is getting the best.
Our team of professionals will evaluate your dog's needs, both physical and mental, to ensure they are comfortable throughout the grooming process. If you are requesting a specific groomer, please mention them in the notes while booking, as certain groomers only work on certain days of the week
